Abstract:
The identification method according to the present disclosure is a method for identifying types of brushless DC motors. A brushless DC motor has at least one capacitor, wherein a specific capacitance different for each of the types of a plurality of brushless DC motors is assigned to the at least one capacitor. The identification method includes supplying power to the brushless DC motor from an identification device via a power supply line and identifying the types of the brushless DC motors on the basis of an identification voltage being different for the specific capacitance of the at least one capacitor and appearing on the power supply line.
