Abstract:

According to the present invention, an identifier output method is executed by a welding system, and includes: acquiring information relating to respective identifiers of a plurality of former workpieces to which an identification code has been assigned; using a prescribed rule to select, from among the respective identifiers of each of the plurality of former workpieces, an identifier to be set for a welded workpiece produced by means of a welding step employing the plurality of former workpieces; and, after the selection has been made, if any identification code from among the identification codes assigned to each of the plurality of former workpieces is read by a reading device, outputting to the reading device the information relating to the selected identifier, as the identifier of the welded workpiece.
