Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose an identity card-based verification method and system. The method comprises: a remote monitoring server scans and saves identity card information of a proprietor, and sends to an intelligent entrance guard the identity card information as a first registration password for unlocking the intelligent entrance guard; when first scanning the first registration password input by a user swiping an identity card, the intelligent entrance guard prompts the user to set a second registration password, the second registration password being a digital password or a press password for pressing a preset area of the intelligent entrance guard a first number of presses within a first preset period of time and a second number of presses within a second preset period of time, and the second registration password comprising a user password for unlocking the entrance guard and an alarm password for unlocking the entrance guard and giving an alarm; and when the user needs to unlock the entrance guard and the intelligent entrance guard verifies that the second registration password is the alarm password, give an alarm. The present invention can improve the security and convenience of an intelligent entrance guard.
