Title:
IDLE-STOP DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/069399
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In order to simplify the structure of an idle-stop device, an idle-stop device (100) is equipped with a deceleration detector (200) that detects vehicle deceleration. In addition, the idle-stop device (100) is equipped with an estimation unit (350) which, on the basis of the deceleration detected by the deceleration detector (200), obtains a first deceleration value when the vehicle speed has decelerated to less than a preset speed. On the basis of the obtained first deceleration value, the estimation unit (350) estimates a first vehicle brake pressure when the vehicle speed has decelerated to less than the preset speed. In addition, the idle-stop device (100) is equipped with an ISC (400) that stops the vehicle engine when the first brake pressure as estimated by the estimation unit (350) is equal to or greater than a preset threshold value, and an ESP (300) that transmits a valve opening/closing control signal to a hydraulic circuit (10) and maintains the brake pressure.
