Abstract:
This idler pulley comprises a pulley body (1) formed, for example, by pressing a steel plate, and a ball bearing (2) fitted in an inner portion of the pulley body (1). A position (Z) on a circumferential surface (1a1) of the pulley body (1) which the center of a belt contacts, and a center line (Y) of the ball bearing (2) are offset from each other by a distance 'delta' in the axial direction, so that the occurrence of an abnormal sound at a cold time is restrained or prevented.
