Abstract:

Provided is an idling rotational speed control means for maintaining an engine rotational speed at a prescribed target idling rotational speed during idling, said idling rotational speed control means being able to, in accordance with the charging state etc. of a battery, switch between an engine idling mode in which idling rotational speed control is performed by the engine, and a motor idling mode in which idling rotational speed control is performed by a motor. During idling in a state in which the engine is cold, the ignition timing of the engine in the motor idling mode is retarded in a relative manner, and retard amounts (R3, R4) thereof are greater than retard amounts (R1, R2) in the engine idling mode, and a rise in exhaust temperature is thereby promoted.
