Abstract:
An IFoF optical transmission system according to the present disclosure comprises a transmission-side digital signal processing device (100) that includes a system count compression unit (150) and a parameter update unit (160). The system count compression unit (150) compresses n digital data streams to m items, m being lower than n. The parameter update unit (160) updates the parameters used by the system count compression unit (150) on the basis of the value of an evaluation function in which signal sequences handled by the transmission-side digital signal processing device (100) are taken as arguments.
