Abstract:
An ignition coil (1) having a primary coil (11), a secondary coil (12), a central core (131), and an outer circumferential core (132). The primary coil (11), the secondary coil (12), the central core (131), and the outer circumferential core (132) are housed in a case (14), and the interior of the case (14) is filled with an electrically insulating filler resin (3). The case (14) has an aperture part (141) that opens on the upper side in the up/down direction of the case, side wall parts (15) forming the aperture part (141), and a base part (17) covering the lower side of the side wall parts (15). An annular cover member (2), which protrudes from the inner circumference of the aperture part (141) toward the inside of the case (14) and has a through-hole (21) penetrating the cover member in the up/down direction, is arranged in the aperture part (141).
