Abstract:
A first filling resin (14) is disposed covering a secondary spool (16) and a secondary coil (12) at least from the outer peripheral side. A second filling resin (15) is filled into a case (3) and seals a section (5) to be sealed which has a primary coil (11), the secondary spool (16), the secondary coil (12), a center core (13), an outer peripheral core (2), and the first filling resin (14). A connector (4) protrudes toward the outside of the case (3). The case (3) has a section (331) to be affixed. The second filling resin (15) covers the outer peripheral core (2). The second filling resin (15) has a lower modulus of elasticity than the first filling resin (14). An ignition coil (1) is manufactured by filling the first filling resin (14) into the case (3) and then filling the second filling resin (15) into the case (3) after the first filling resin (14) is cured.
