Abstract:
An ignition timing controller of an internal combustion engine capable of preventing defective acceleration from occurring by the correction of ignition timing to excessive-retard angle or knocking from occurring by the correction of ignition timing to insufficient-retard angle even if a fuel injection ratio varies. The controller comprises a transient retard angle control means correcting the ignition timing to a retard angle to prevent knocking from occurring in the transient operation of the internal combustion engine having a cylinder injection injector (11) and an intake passage injection injector (12). The control amount of the ignition timing by the transient retard angle control means is differentiated according to the ratio of a fuel injection amount from the cylinder injection injector (11) to a fuel injection amount from the intake passage injection injector (12).
