Abstract:
An illegal location updating process method is disclosed, and includes following steps: Mobile station issues location updating request. After the location updating request is received at network side, firstly, judge whether this request is first location updating request; if the answer is affirmative, then perform legality judgement. And if the answer also is affirmative, then perform the normal location updating procedure. And if the MS is illegal, then make a mark for the MS and send back the illegal location updating message to the MS. If the location updating is not first location updating, then check whether the MS is marked as an illegal user. If the MS is an illegal user, then send back the illegal location updating message to the MS. And if not, then perform the normal location updating procedure. This method could efficiently limit the number of location updating that the illegal MSs frequently issue in the network, reduce the unnecessary load of network equipments, and ensure the running safety of network equipment.
