Abstract:
The invention relates to illuminated furniture fronts in all segments of room furnishing, such as for bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, living room, nursery, and youth bedroom or hallway furniture, for the purpose of increasing living comfort. The aim of the invention is to provide a solution for illuminating furnishings and other applications across the front surfaces or visible surfaces thereof in such a way that preferably no shading is produced in the edge areas due to frame designs and the illumination is uniformly intense across a furniture front. Said aim is achieved by means of illuminated furniture fronts (1) having a layered construction, in particular on surfaces facing an observer, of furnishings and on other structures of interior architecture, such as in connection with tabletops, integrated in room ceilings as a hanging lamp, light plate etc., characterized in that the layered structure comprises translucent and non-translucent plate-shaped materials, the translucent plate-shaped materials having a small thickness, wherein a borderless layering of a translucent outer front plate (2), an LED light panel (4), and a non-translucent carrier plate (7) is provided, the non-translucent carrier plate being made of plastic, metal, or wood, and wherein the side edges of the translucent surfaces lying one over the other are fastened by attaching an edge band (8) and this composite, which is rigidly attached to the carrier plate, has a scratch- and impact-resistant film (3) of a furniture pattern or another visual representation in front of the front plate (2), which film can be illuminated through the front plate (2) from the inside out by means of the lighting means, the LEDs (5), arranged in the LED light panel (4).
