Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to achieve display having excellent display qualities by suppressing luminance non-uniformity. An illuminating device of the present invention is provided with: a plurality of light emitting units, each of which has a plurality of light emitting elements mounted on the same axis line on a substrate; a linear light source having the light emitting units arranged in a row; a light guide body having the end portion thereof facing the linear light source; and a reflection sheet, which reflects light applied from the linear light source. A reflection cover is provided on the light guide body side of a joint formed between the substrates of the light emitting units.
