Abstract:
An image reading device (100), and an illuminating device (210) provided in an image forming device (D) are provided with: light source sections (211a1, 211b1, 211a2, 211b2); light guide members (213a, 213b) which illuminate a subject (G) from light outputting surfaces (M) which are long in the longitudinal direction (Y) by guiding light emitted from the light source sections; and holding members (216a, 216b) which hold the light guide members. The holding members have holding sections (2161a, 2161b) which removably hold the light guide members, and tilted sections (2162a, 2162b) which reflect light outputted from the light outputting surfaces (M) and extend from leading ends on the sides of the light outputting surfaces (M) of the holding sections such that the tilted sections further open diagonally with distance from the light guide members.
