Abstract:
An illuminating holder (10) for transparent-sided beverage container includes an illuminating receptacle having sides and a base so as to define a cavity. The receptacle is snugly mountable into selectively releaseable mating engagement onto an end of the beverage container (16). The receptacle is snugly mountable onto the end so as to journal the end in the cavity. An illuminating light source (18) is mounted to the base (14) so as to be operatively disposed to shine light inwardly into the cavity. The light source (18) thereby illuminates the cavity so as to diffuse light from the light source (18) throughout a beverage in the container (16) when the container is mounted in the cavity. Light from the light source thereby causes effervescence and sparkling reflections from bubbles (24) in the beverage resulting from carbonation or mixing of the beverage in the container (16).
