Abstract:
An illumination apparatus (100) is composed by mounting, using a mounting mechanism, a light source unit (1) comprising a light source for illumination onto a supporting body (2) that is to be installed onto a mounting section such as a ceiling. The mounting mechanism is provided with mounting bodies (4) for mounting the light source unit (1) onto the supporting body (2) with a pressing operation. Since the light source unit (1) can be mounted onto the supporting body (2) by positioning the light source unit (1) at a position where the light source unit (1) is to be mounted onto the supporting body (2), and pressing the mounting bodies (4), the mounting work can be executed quickly, without requiring screwing of screws.
