Abstract:
An illumination control simulation device (10) comprises a processing unit (12) that receives input of road map data which indicates a planned installation location of an illumination apparatus and a peripheral region, pedestrian data which indicates an attribute of a pedestrian, illumination apparatus specification data which indicates specifications pertaining to emission by an illumination apparatus to be installed at the planned installation location, and illumination emission pattern data which indicates a plurality of emission patterns of light emitted from the illumination apparatus, that virtually sets a location where the illumination apparatus is to be installed on the road map data, and that uses the illumination apparatus specification data and/or the illumination emission pattern data to acquire a simulation result of predicting how a pedestrian flow will change at the planned installation location and in the peripheral region.
