Abstract:
Provided is a backlight device, comprising: an LED; an inner-side frame of a framework shape, having a sheet support face; an engagement part (24), further comprising a riser part (24a) on the obverse side from the sheet support face, and a bent part (24b) which is bent from the leading end of the riser part (24a) and which extends along the sheet support face toward a side which is away from a center location of the inner-side frame; and an optical sheet (15), an end edge part thereof being supported upon the sheet support face, and which imparts an optical effect upon light from the LED, said optical sheet (15) further comprising an aperture (15s) which is disposed upon the end edge part thereof, and through which the riser part (24a) is inserted, and a flexible part (15t) which is disposed in a form which extends from the aperture end of the aperture (15s), a portion thereof being superpositioned with the bent part (24b) in plan view, and which is capable of flexing in the direction wherein the riser part (24a) rises.
