Abstract:
This backlight device (12) is provided: with an LED (24); a chassis (22) having a side plate (22b), and a bottom plate (22a) with the LED (24) arranged on the plate surface; a reflective sheet (29) which reflects light from the LED (24) and which has a bridge section (29b) arranged spanning at least from the bottom plate (22a) to the side plate (22b) of the chassis (22); wires (31, 32) connected to the LED (24) which are routed in a space (S) enclosed by the bottom plate (22a), the side plate (22b) and the bridge section (29b); and a ring-form harness holder (50) which holds the wires (31, 32) and which has a bottom plate contact section (51) contacting the bottom plate (22a), a side plate contact section (52) contacting the side plate (22b), and a cover section (53) connected to the bottom plate contact section (51) and the side plate contact section (52), covering the wires (31, 32), and shaped to follow the bridge section (29b).
