Abstract:
The present invention suppresses a change in the hue of emitted light in an illumination device that uses a light emitting element. This illumination device includes: at least one first light emitting element; at least one second light emitting element having a different light emission color from the first light emitting element; a power supply circuit that is connected to the first light emitting element and the second light emitting element and supplies a driving voltage to the first light emitting element and the second light emitting element; and a control circuit that controls the flow of current generated by the driving voltage to each of the first light emitting element and the second light emitting element, wherein the control circuit controls the flow of the current such that, in a first period, a first current flows to the first light emitting element, and the second light emitting element is non-conductive, and controls the flow of the current such that, in a second period following the first period, a second current relatively smaller than the first current flows to the first light emitting element, and a third current flows to the second light emitting element.
