Abstract:
An illumination device (10) comprises: a light source (12) that emits collimated light or divergent light; a diffusion element (14) that receives the light emitted from the light source (12) and that emits light at a diffusion angle of 50° to 110°; and a lens group (16) that has negative power, that receives, at a first surface (16a), the light from the diffusion element (14), and that emits light at a light distribution angle of 140° or more from a second surface (16b).
