Abstract:
Disclosed are an illumination device and the like whereby non-uniformities in brightness are minimized. Said illumination device (1) is provided with: a plurality of light-emitting substrates (5), each comprising an elongated circuit board (52) and a plurality of light-emitting elements (51) mounted thereon; and a roughly-rectangular light-guide panel (7) that guides light incident on end faces (71) inwards and emits said light from a front surface (73). The light-emitting substrates (5) are lined up along the mutually opposing end faces (71) of the light-guide panel (7) such that gaps (53) formed between adjacent light-emitting substrates (5) do not occur opposite each other across the light-guide panel (7).
