Abstract:

Provided is an illumination device capable of obtaining a characteristic of wide-angle light distribution as is required for spot-type illumination, bulb-type illumination and so on depending on the environment of facilities or the preference of a user, emitting fully scattered light therefrom, and having an excellent design. The illumination device is provided with an electric power receiving unit which receives electric power from the outside; a power source unit which is connected to the electric power receiving unit and converts the electric power to a predetermined driving power; a light source unit which is connected to the power source unit and emits light in accordance with the driving power; a casing unit which houses the light source unit; and a light guide unit which is provided projecting from the casing unit and emits from the bifurcated output surface the light of the light source unit which is incident onto the incidence surface.
