Abstract:
An illumination device according to the embodiments is provided with a base member (2), a light source (6) disposed on the front surface of the base member, a translucent cover (4) that is attached to the base member so as to cover the light source and emits the light emitted from the light source to the outside, and a light guide (7) that is provided facing the light source and guides at least some of the light emitted towards the front by the light source in directions towards the sides and rear relative to the light source. The translucent cover has a rear translucent region (4b) where the plane normal direction is oriented towards the sides or the rear of the illumination device. The light guide has a light entry part facing the front surface of the light source and a tip part that extends in a curved shape along the rear translucent region from the light entry part towards the outside. The light guide is provided with a light guide emission part that guides the light entering the light entry part and emits the light from the tip part.
