Abstract:
An illumination device (10) having: a light source (15); a optical scanning device (20) able to change the optical path of the light-source light; an optical diffusion element (50) having a plurality of component diffusion elements (55); and an optical path adjustment element (40) provided in the optical path from an optical scanning element to the optical diffusion element. The optical path adjustment element has a plurality of component adjusting elements (45) provided respectively in correspondence with each of the component diffusion elements, said component adjusting elements (45) adjusting the optical path of the light-source light toward the corresponding component dispersion element. The position at which the light-source light impinges on the optical path adjustment element varies according to the optical path set by the optical scanning device. The angle at which the light-source light impinges on each of the component diffusion elements varies according to the position at which the light impinges on the component adjustment elements corresponding to the component diffusion elements. The angle at which light departs the component diffusion elements varies according to the angle at which light impinges on the component diffusion elements (55). Each of the component diffusion elements illuminates component areas to be illuminated that correspond to the component diffusion elements.
