Abstract:
An illumination device (1) comprising: a light emitting module (30) which has a light emitting element (31a) and a wavelength conversion part (31b) converting the wavelength of light emitted by the light emitting element (31a); a luminance uniformizing plate (50) which is disposed on a light output side of the light emitting module (30); and a diffusing plate (60) disposed on the opposite side of luminance uniformizing plate (50) from the light emitting module (30) side thereof. Furthermore, the distance (H1) between the light emitting module (30) and the luminance uniformizing plate (50) is at least 1/2 of the distance (H2) between the light-emitting module (30) and the diffusing plate (60).
