Abstract:
The present invention is an illumination device comprising: a light source; a collimator lens that is positioned on the optical axis, the collimator lens being for emitting collimated light upon having light emitted from the light source incident thereon; and a diffusion lens that is positioned on the emission-surface side of the collimator lens, the diffusion lens being for diffusing said collimated light upon the light being incident thereon. The diffusion lens is provided with: a diffusion section for diffusing central light of the collimated light emitted from the central portion of the emission surface of the collimator lens; and a non-diffusion section that transmits peripheral light of the collimated light emitted from outside the central portion of the emission surface of the collimator lens, without diffusing said peripheral light.
