Abstract:
An illumination instrument according to the present invention comprises a ground socket to which a ground metal cap of a lamp is connected, and an instrument main body which retains the ground socket. The ground socket further comprises a conductive member which is housed therein, and a slit which is disposed upon the outer wall thereof. The conductive member is configured to electrically connect with a ground terminal which is disposed upon the ground metal cap. The instrument main body further comprises a retaining portion which retains the ground socket by being inserted into the slit. The retaining portion has a zero potential. The conductive member further comprises a contact portion which is exposed to the outside via the slit, and elastically makes contact with retaining portion which is inserted in the slit.
