Abstract:
Disclosed are an illumination intensity detection device and a method thereof, the illumination intensity detection device comprising: a first output unit for receiving first incident light, which includes a visible light region and an infrared light region, to be output from a light source, so as to output a first electrical signal corresponding to the first incident light; a second output unit for receiving second incident light, which include a visible light region and an infrared light region of a selected wavelength range of the first incident light, so as to output a second electrical signal corresponding to the second incident light; and a signal processing unit for acquiring a illumination intensity value for the light source by referring to the outputted first electrical signal and second electrical signal, and for analyzing at least one of a type and a characteristic of the light source.
