Abstract:
Disclosed is an illumination member wherein a core having a wiring element provided with a light emitting element is sealed with silicone rubber, and which is characterised in that a transparent silicone rubber (A) enclosure is formed on the light emitting surface side of the core, and a silicone rubber (B) enclosure having different physical properties to the other silicone rubber (A) is formed on the reverse side of the light emitting surface. The illumination member is protected from environmental factors, does not cause internal electrical damage, has minimal variation in light transmittance due to yellowing, and has excellent low temperature properties. As heat radiation, electrostatic, and vibration prevention properties can be added from the reverse side of the light emitting surface, internal loss is prevented, and the member can be used over a long period.
