Abstract:
The objective of the invention is to reliably seal the leading end side of a phosphor with a simple structure and prevent degradation of the phosphor. This illumination optics unit (26A) is provided with an optical fiber (39A), a phosphor (40), a ferrule (60) as a holding member for holding the phosphor (40) and the optical fiber (39A), a tubular first sleeve member (61) for covering the outer circumference of the phosphor (40) and a protective cover (38) for sealing the leading end side of the phosphor (40). The ferrule (60) holds the optical fiber (39A) and the phosphor (40) and is inserted into the first sleeve member (61). A magnetic metal film (67) is provided on the surface of a phosphor holding portion (69) of the ferrule (60). A magnetic force is generated between a magnet (75) and the metal film (67) by abutting the magnet (75) against the leading end of the protective cover (38) in order to closely attach the phosphor (40) to the protective cover (38).
