Abstract:
Provided is an illumination panel that can emit light with a bright front surface part of the panel while preventing light from a light source from appearing as a bright spot on the front surface part of the panel even when further thickness reduction is achieved by reducing the thickness of the outer frame. The illumination panel comprises an outer frame (3), a rear surface plate (2) arranged in a state of covering the rear side of the inner region surrounded by the outer frame (3) and in a state where a large number of light sources (1A) are dispersedly arranged on the front surface side, a light diffusing sheet (4B) having a light diffusing property and stretched in a state of covering the front side of the inner region, and a front surface sheet (4A) having a light diffusing property, constituting the front surface part of the panel and stretched in a state of covering the front side of the light diffusing sheet (4B), wherein the front surface sheet (4A) is configured by providing a first glass cloth woven with a first glass yarn as a base material, and the light diffusing sheet (4B) is configured by providing a second glass cloth woven with a second glass yarn thicker than the first glass yarn as a base material.
