Abstract:
This illumination structure is mounted on the side of a display surface of a display structure, and is provided with a light guiding plate, a coupling member disposed between the light guiding plate and the display surface and coupled to the light guiding plate, and a light source disposed so as to illuminate a side surface of the light guiding plate. The light guiding plate has a first surface that is in contact with the coupling member, and a second surface that is located opposite the first surface. The second surface of the light guiding plate is flat. The first surface of the light guiding plate includes a first portion approximately parallel to the display surface, and a second portion recessed to the second surface side with respect to the first portion.
