Abstract:
Provided is an illumination tool that can entirely illuminate the surroundings while an LED light source is utilized. The illumination tool comprises an LED light source (4b) and a light reflector (24) provided in front of the LED light source (4b), and the light reflector (24) has an incline so that the center of the light reflector is nearer to the LED light source (4b). If the relationship r/h ≒ tan2α is satisfied, where r is the radius of a case in which the LED light source is installed, h is the distance from the LED light source to the light reflector, and α is the slope of the light reflector, then the light emitted from the LED light source is reflected so as to exit the case in which the LED light source is installed, the loss of light energy is therefore eliminated as much as possible, and the beam angle can be maximized.
