Abstract:
This image acquisition device (1) is characterized by being provided with: a sample stage (15) on which a sample (S), which forms an object of image acquisition, is mounted; a micro-use light source (35), which has light emitting element (35b) and a heat radiator (35a) that radiates heat generated by the light emitting element (35b) and which shines light on the sample (S); an object lens (32) disposed so as to be in mutual opposition to the sample (S) on the stage as a guiding optical system that guides a light image of the sample (S); a micro image acquisition unit that images the light image of the sample (S) that has been guided; and a micro-use light source control unit that controls the light emitting element (35b) such that irradiation of light by the micro-use light source (35) is carried out during a wait period between image acquisition periods in which the light image of a plurality of samples (S) is imaged.
