Abstract:
 This image acquisition device acquires an X-ray transmission image of a target that is conveyed in a conveying direction, wherein the image acquisition device is provided with: an X-ray irradiator for outputting X-rays; a belt conveyor for conveying the target in a conveying direction; an X-ray detection camera having a scintillator for conversion of X-rays transmitted through the target to scintillation light, a line scan camera for detecting scintillation light and outputting a detection signal, and an amp for amplifying the detection signal by a prescribed set amplification factor, and outputting the amplified signal; a control device that generates an X-ray transmission image on the basis of the amplified signal; and an amp controller that, on the basis of a prescribed imaging parameter, sets the set amplification factor to a either a first amplification factor or a second amplification factor that is an amplification factor lower than the first amplification factor.
