Title:
IMAGE ACQUISITION SYSTEM AND IMAGE ACQUISITION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/062412
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention uses a simple structure to acquire, in a short time, a color image of wide wavelength range emission spectrum information for a sample, and rapidly determines a success/failure result for detection of the emission spectrum information for the sample. A superconducting transition-edge sensor 108 is a photodetection element that can diffract a single photon, and outputs a wave height value detection signal in accordance with the wavelength of the wide wavelength range emission spectrum from a sample 200. A photon counter 112 performs a voltage comparison between the detection signal of the superconducting transition-edge sensor 108 and three threshold values corresponding to the wavelengths of three primary color signals, and counts the number of inputs per unit time of detection signals that are greater than or equal to the threshold values. A control PC 113 acquires, from three types of count values from the photon counter 112, respective image values for RGB primary colors, constructs a color image on the basis of these image values according to a known method, and outputs the result to an image output device 114 such as a display or printer to display or print the color image.
