Abstract:
A method of scaling a projection surface, for the display of a projected image made up of image parts from respective projector devices, into an image taken of the projection surface by an image capturing device comprising, associating a plurality of physical marker devices with the projection surface and arranged in a pattern, capturing the image of the projection surface and the physical marker devices associated therewith and applying a computer algorithm to the image for detecting the pattern of the plurality of physical maker devices such that the marker devices and consequently the projection surface can be scaled into the image captured by the image capturing device. A method of projector screen surface mapping, an automatic alignment system and an image alignment process are disclosed.
