Abstract:
Provided are an image blur correction device capable of accurately moving an
imaging element and an imaging device having such a device. The image blur correction
device has a stationary member (12), a movable member (14) where the imaging element
(16) is mounted, support means (18) for supporting the movable member relative
to the stationary member, at least three drive coils (20) arranged at the movable
member, a position sensor (24) placed at the stationary member, at least three
drive magnets (22) individually attached to positions opposite the drive coils,
detection means (34) for detecting displacement of the optical axis, and control
means (36) for allowing, based on the displacement of the optical axis and the
position of the movable member relative to the stationary member, an electric
current to flow to the drive coils, driving the movable member to suppress a blur
of an image formed on the imaging element.
