Abstract:
The present invention provides an image blur correction device, an imaging device, an image blur correction method, and an image blur correction program capable of ensuring sufficient image blur correction performance. A digital camera (100) comprises: a driver for moving a movable component including an imaging element (20) in a direction X, a direction Y, and a direction θ; and a system controller (108) for controlling the driver. The system controller (108) selectively performs a first control for moving the movable component in at least one of the direction X, direction Y, and direction θ or a second control for moving the movable component in at least the direction X or the direction Y only while prohibiting the movement of the movable component in the direction θ. When performing the second control, the system controller provides a wider range of movement in the directions X and Y for the movable component than the range when performing the first control.
