A bracket 24 has a second shaft member 45 which is parallel to the x direction, which is in the plane of motion of a lens frame 23 that holds an image blur corrective lens 2b, and the bracket 24 is supported by a base member 22 so as to be capable of swinging about a first shaft member 43 parallel to the x direction. The lens frame 23 has a pair of engagement arms 46 which engage with the second shaft member 45 so as to allow movement along the second shaft member 45 and rotation about the second shaft member 45 and so as to enable detachable mounting in the optical axis direction. A second line L2 is perpendicular to a first line L1 and passes through the optical axis, and the second shaft member 45 and the pair of engagement arms 46 are arranged on the side of the second line L2 opposite of the side of arrangement of a voice coil motor 38 for moving the lens frame 23. Anchoring members for retaining the lens frame 23 on the base member 22 include a first anchoring member 26 which is disposed adjacent to the second shaft member 45 and the pair of engagement arms 46, and a second anchoring member 27 which is disposed on a third line L3 and which is arranged on the side of the second line L2 opposite of the side of arrangement of the first anchoring member 26.
