Abstract:
An image capture device according to the invention comprises: an image capture element including an image capture area having a photoelectric conversion unit for performing photoelectric conversion of light from a subject and a light-shielded pixel area having a light-shielded photoelectric conversion unit; and a signal processing unit for correcting a signal from the photoelectric conversion unit of the image capture area on the basis of both a signal from the photoelectric conversion unit of the light-shielded pixel area and a second control condition that is set in the light-shielded pixel area and that is different from a first control condition that is set in the image capture area.
