Abstract:
An image capture device comprises: an image capture element that performs photoelectric conversion of collected light; a selection unit that selects output signals from pixels belonging to a predetermined pixel area of the image capture element; a dark current calculation unit that calculates a dark current value on the basis of a difference between predetermined sets of the output signals; and a temperature calculation unit that calculates the temperature of the image capture element from the dark current value.
