Abstract:
Provided are: an image capture device that calculates the tilt amount of an image sensor and the displacement amount of a flange back, and presents the calculated amounts to a user; and a method for controlling the image capture device. The image capture device: follows movement of the focus position caused by a manual operation by the user for each small area in a plurality of locations within the image capture region of the image sensor, performs AF detection, and acquires data about the focus position and focusing degree of a lens; and calculates the tilt amount of the image sensor and the displacement amount of the flange back of the lens on the basis of the mutual correlation of the data about the focus position and the focusing degree among the small areas in the plurality of locations.
