Abstract:
Provided are an image capture device, an image capture method, and a program, whereby it is possible to change a photographic function when photographing with an index finger placed upon a release switch. An image capture device (1) comprises: a first manipulation unit (3) whereupon a photographic function of the image capture device (1) is assigned, a photographic parameter whereof is changeable, and which accepts an input of a change signal which instructs a change of the photographic parameter of this photographic function; a release switch (4b) which is capable of extension and retraction by external pressure, accepts an input of a photography preparation signal which instructs a photography preparation operation when half-pressed, and accepts an input of a photography signal which instructs photography when fully pressed; and a control unit (9) which, when the release switch (4b) is half-pressed, switches to the photographic function which is assigned to the first manipulation unit (3).
