Abstract:
Provided is an image capture device in which the two pupils of a pupil division optical system allow light of a first wavelength band and light of a second wavelength band to pass therethrough, respectively. The components of the first wavelength band in a first transmittance characteristic and in a second transmittance characteristic are more than the components of the second wavelength band in the first transmittance characteristic and in the second transmittance characteristic. The components of the second wavelength band in a third transmittance characteristic are more than the components of the first wavelength band in the third transmittance characteristic. A color image generation unit generates a color image including, as a first channel, a first signal based on the first transmittance characteristic and also including, as a second channel and a third channel, the second signals based on the second transmittance characteristic.
