Abstract:
An image-capture element comprising a plurality of phase difference-detecting pixels and a plurality of image-capturing conventional pixels which are arranged two-dimensionally in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction. The phase difference-detecting pixels have a pupil-dividing aperture portion, and comprise a first phase difference pixel ZA and a second phase difference pixel ZB which have mutually different aperture portions with respect to the horizontal direction. The first phase difference pixel ZA and the second phase difference pixel ZB are disposed adjacently with the respective aperture portions thereof facing each other. In the plurality of conventional pixels, an RGB color filter is disposed in the Bayer arrangement. The image-capture element comprises a conventional pixel row in which only the conventional pixels are disposed in the horizontal direction, and a phase difference pixel row in which the first phase difference pixel ZA, the second phase difference pixel ZB, and one conventional pixel are periodically disposed in the horizontal direction.
