Abstract:
There are included: an interchangeable lens (100) that includes a focus lens (104) and condenses subject light; an image capturing device (202) that generates an image signal based on the subject light; a shutter mechanism (220) that is situated between the interchangeable lens (100) and the image capturing device (202) and comprises a front curtain (225) and a rear curtain (226); a pulse counter (227) that detects the positions of the front curtain (225) and rear curtain (226); and a main body control unit (203) that causes, based on the positions of the front curtain (225) and rear curtain (226) detected by the pulse counter (227), a signal acquisition from the image capturing device (202) to be started.
