Abstract:
This image processing apparatus is provided with: an image input unit through which captured image data of a person is inputted; a region detecting unit for detecting a specific color region in the image data; a filter unit for smoothing pixel values in the region of a specific color detected by the region detecting unit by using frames of the image data inputted to the image input unit, and each of the image data frames preceding and following the frame inputted to the image input unit; an encoding unit for encoding an output image from the filter unit; and an output unit for outputting an image which is outputted from the filter unit and encoded by the encoding unit.
