Abstract:
Provided is an image capturing apparatus equipped with: an imaging data storing unit (12) for storing imaging data of a captured subject acquired by an imaging unit (11); a motion detection unit (14) for detecting a motion of the image capturing apparatus; a color distribution identification unit (13) for identifying a color distribution of the imaging data; and an unnecessary image determination g unit (15). Based on image parameters of a plurality of imaging data acquired while the image capturing apparatus is in motion, when an approximately identical color distribution exists in an approximately identical region in the imaging data, said unnecessary image determination unit (15) determines that this region is an unnecessary image region containing an unnecessary image due to a finger being captured within an image.
